HELPS FAST PLS IM BEGGIN UU One theme of Twelfth Night is that two characteristics of true love are selflessness and patience.
In paragraph 1, explain why it is good advice for the characters in the story.
In paragraph 2, describe an event in the play, and explain how one of the characters' actions illustrates the theme.
In paragraph 3, describe another event in the play, and explain how one of the characters' actions illustrates the theme.
Paragraph 1:
The theme of selflessness and patience being characteristics of true love is good advice for the characters in Twelfth Night because it highlights the importance of genuine and enduring love. In the play, we witness characters who are often driven by their own desires, impulsive actions, and mistaken identities. By embracing selflessness, the characters can transcend their own wants and needs, focusing on the happiness and well-being of their loved ones. Patience, on the other hand, teaches them to endure the challenges and obstacles that arise in their relationships, allowing time for true feelings to develop and grow. This advice encourages the characters to cultivate a love that is not solely based on self-gratification but rather on understanding, sacrifice, and long-lasting affection.
Paragraph 2:
An event in the play that illustrates the theme of selflessness and patience is the relationship between Viola and Orsino. Viola, disguised as Cesario, serves as a messenger of love between Orsino and Olivia. Despite her growing feelings for Orsino, Viola remains selfless and patiently endures her unrequited love. She puts Orsino's happiness above her own, faithfully carrying out his requests and acting as his confidante. Viola's selflessness is further exemplified when she agrees to woo Olivia on Orsino's behalf, even though she knows it may lead to her own heartache. Through her patience and selflessness, Viola shows that true love involves putting the well-being and desires of the loved one before one's own, even if it means sacrificing personal happiness.
Paragraph 3:
Another event in the play that showcases the theme of selflessness and patience is the relationship between Antonio and Sebastian. Antonio, who saved Sebastian from a shipwreck, develops strong feelings for him. Despite facing danger and risking his own well-being, Antonio selflessly follows Sebastian to Illyria, providing support and protection. Antonio's actions demonstrate his unwavering devotion and his willingness to put Sebastian's safety and happiness above his own. Moreover, Antonio's patience is evident as he continues to stand by Sebastian, even when Sebastian is initially unsure of his identity. Antonio's selflessness and patience underline the depth of his love, highlighting that true love involves unconditional support, loyalty, and endurance.
In both examples, the characters' actions reflect the theme of selflessness and patience, emphasizing the significance of these qualities in cultivating meaningful and lasting relationships.
The twelfth nights major themes are probably the difficulties of finding love and having it returned and identity including gender roles and one's inherited social station. It helps to stop discrimination and bring peace. Twelfth Night is a romantic comedy, and romantic love is the play's main focus.
Despite the fact that the play offers a happy ending, in which the various lovers find one another and achieve wedded bliss, Shakespeare shows that love can cause pain.
In Act 2 of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, there are various plot points that are happening simultaneously. Sebastian is headed for Orsino's court, followed by a concerned Antonio. Viola is leading her double life as Cesario, Orsino's page, and she has made Olivia fall in love with her.

Ode to enchanted light by Pablo Neruda
Under the trees light
has dropped from the top of the sky,
light
like a green
latticework of branches,
shining
on every leaf,
drifting down like clean
white sand.
A cicada sends
its sawing song
high into the empty air.
The world
is a glass overflowing
with water.
Answers:
The lines suggest a feeling of calm, of being transfixed by the light dropping through the tree branches. The poet creates this feeling first with the setting, “Under the trees.” Then, the phrase “a green/latticework of branches” compares the broken pattern of light to the crossed patterns of tree branches. This suggests a peaceful setting. He finishes the stanza with the image of the light as“drifting down like clean/white sand. The /s/ sounds in “cicada sends/ its sawing song” suggest the repetitious, raspy noise of a cicada itself. Yes, the poem expresses an appreciation for how light enhances the beauty of sights and sounds in nature.Brainlist Pls!

which phrase is used in regards to the gestalt principle
The phrase commonly used in regards to the gestalt principle is "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts."
This phrase captures the idea that when we perceive a complex stimulus, such as a visual scene, we tend to perceive it as a unified whole, rather than as a collection of individual parts. The Gestalt Principle is a theory of perception developed by a group of German psychologists in the early 20th century, which suggests that our brains organize sensory information into meaningful patterns and structures based on certain principles, such as proximity, similarity, continuity, closure, and figure-ground. These principles help us to perceive the world around us in a coherent and meaningful way, despite the complexity of the sensory information that we receive.
This principle emphasizes that the perception of an object or image is not simply the combination of its individual elements, but rather the result of the brain's interpretation of the overall pattern or form.

the idea that language develops because of an inborn language acquisition device was proposed by
Noam Chomsky first put forth the Language Acquisition Device (LAD) in the 1960s, based on his language acquisition studies. A baby is said to be able to learn and produce language thanks to a putative inherent mental capacity known as the LAD concept.
What is Language Acquisition Device ?The nativist theory of language includes it as one of its elements. According to this theory, language acquisition is something that all people are naturally capable of doing. The main defense of the LAD was the argument from the poverty of the stimulus, which contends that children would not be able to learn language as quickly as they do if they lacked significant innate knowledge of grammar given that they never have access to contradictory data and infrequently receive direct instruction in their native tongue. According to Chomsky's explanation of LAD, languages have an endless variety of syntax and word structures (or "strings").Each independent language's constrained lexicon can be combined with these word forms to create grammatically sound word sequences. Therefore, LAD is tasked with choosing among an unlimited number of grammars the one that is appropriate for the language that is offered to a person, for example, a youngster. To Learn more About Language Acquisition Device refer TO:

People often speak of hatred as ""blind""? Why does Szymborska describe it as having ""a sniper’s keen sight""? Do you agree?
Answer:
she feels that 'hatred' is always lurking around the corner waiting for a chance
Explanation:
In the poem, the poet, Wislawa Szymborska, describes hatred as having "a sniper’s keen sight" though people often say that hatred is ""blind" because she feels that 'hatred' is always lurking around the corner waiting for a chance to show itself.
She says that hatred is gifted, diligent, and hard-working. It never sleeps and is always looking for ways to devour the future.
I agree with the poet because it is indeed true that hatred is always present in the minds and hearts of the people. It is anxiously waiting for the right moment to burst out so that it could devastate the lives of the people.
