Will the world be a better place after Covid-19
I think that the world is a better place after covid-19 for several reasons. During the Covid-19 pandemic many indoor facilities were temporarily closed, large gatherings were banned, and mask or face coverings were mandatory. There are three reasons how the world can be a better place after Covid-19.
Firstly, indoor non-essential facilities are opened. Libraries opened up to allow everyone to visit during the day. For example, kids, adults, and seniors are now able to check out and return books once again. As well, others are now able to visit the library in person to study and do research. In addition, those that use the libraries to escape the cold or beat the heat, can now visit in person.
Next, gatherings are allowed during events. The playoffs in sports attract hundreds of people. For example many fans come to watch the Raptors in the NBA playoffs after the regular season because they won the championship in 2019. Second when the Maple Leafs are in the Stanley Cup playoffs it attracts fans. Lastly when Toronto FC are in MLS cup playoffs thousands of fans come to watch because they won the MLS cup in 2017.
Lastly, Masks and face coverings are no longer mandatory. Mask mandate in indoor public spaces is not required. Firstly, people come to a restaurant to dine in they do not have to pull up their mask after finished eating if it is under their chin. Also shoppers are allowed to enter stores without a mask if fully vaccinated and do not have any symptoms. Finally at fitness centers all members are allowed to enter without masks and must bring hand sanitizer to sanitize their hands after using any machine or equipment.
In conclusion I think that the world would be a better place after Covid-19. It has affected everyone and made life difficult. There are three reasons how the world can be a better place after Covid-19, indoor non-essential facilities are open, gatherings are allowed during events and masks and face coverings are no longer mandatory.

Read the excerpt from "On Becoming an Inventor" by Dean Kamen.
From this well-stocked basement came a whole new set of really neat projects. My younger brother, Mitch, and his friends, as well as some of my own friends, would come after school to help. At sixteen I was now a young entrepreneur, paying them for their help. I was surprised by the number of orders I was getting for more and more equipment. Soon I didn't have time to build and design new things. Giving over this work to other kids gave me more time to do what I wanted to do. This went on after school and all summer long.
Which fact from the excerpt best supports Kamen’s opinion that his projects were neat?
The basement was well-stocked with equipment.
Mitch and his friends would come over after school.
He was getting a large number of orders for the projects.
He gave over some of the work to the other kids.
In "On Becoming an Inventor" by Dean Kamen, the fact from the excerpt that best supports Kamen’s opinion that his projects were neat is that he was getting a large number of orders for the projects. The correct answer is option C.
This fact shows that the projects were popular and in demand, which suggests that they were interesting and impressive to those who saw them. Kamen describes his experience as a young inventor in the excerpt, explaining how he would work in his well-stocked basement and invite friends over to help.
He paid them for their assistance and was surprised by the number of orders he received for the equipment he was designing and building. This success led him to give over some of the work to other kids so that he could focus on his own interests. The fact that Kamen was getting a large number of orders for the projects is the best evidence of his opinion that they were neat. Therefore, option C is correct.
This indicates that other people found the projects interesting and useful, and that Kamen was successful in creating something that had value. The fact that he was also able to delegate some of the work to other kids suggests that he was able to create a system for producing his projects that was efficient and effective, further supporting his skills as an inventor.

Was Einsteins theory proved accurate? Explain
Albert Einstein is known for his theory of relativity, which states that space and time are relative to the observer's state of motion. His theory was initially met with skepticism, but as time progressed, scientists were able to test and verify his theory through experiments. Thus, it can be said that Einstein's theory was proved accurate.
Einstein's theory of relativity was initially introduced in 1905, and it is known as the special theory of relativity. It was later followed by the general theory of relativity, which was introduced in 1915. The special theory of relativity discusses how space and time are relative to the observer's state of motion. The theory states that the speed of light is constant and that the laws of physics are the same in all inertial reference frames.
The general theory of relativity, on the other hand, discusses the effects of gravity on space and time. The theory states that gravity is not a force but rather a result of the curvature of space-time. It is known as the curvature of space-time because it is the space-time that is bent by the presence of massive objects. Einstein's theories have been put to the test over the years, and they have been proven accurate through various experiments.
For example, the theory of general relativity was tested during the solar eclipse of 1919. The observations made during the eclipse were used to verify the theory's prediction that light would be bent by the sun's gravitational field. The experiment proved the theory's accuracy, and it made Einstein an international celebrity.
In conclusion, Einstein's theory of relativity has been proven accurate through various experiments over the years. The theory is still used today in various scientific fields, including physics and astronomy. Einstein's contributions to science have been significant and have revolutionized our understanding of the universe.

I convinced my parents to get me a music device with headphones when I was eleven. When I was fifteen, I started going to
concerts at indoor arenas and large amphitheaters. At the big concerts, you could always find me next to the speakers. A year
later I was also going to all-ages shows at clubs and you know where I'd park myself. After a concert or a club gig, I'd
occasionally notice ringing in my ears afterward. But by the next day it would be gone. Yet that post-event ringing gradually
got louder and louder, and it took longer and longer to disappear. Then one day last year I realized that the ringing was 24/7,
except when I was asleep. I also had to face the fact that, more and more often, I was asking, "What did you say?" in
conversations.
My parents took me to a hearing specialist. The diagnosis was pretty straightforward: In both ears, I'd lost some hearing at
one range and a lot of hearing at another. The constant ringing was connected to the hearing loss. Of course I asked the doctor,
"So what can you do about it?" Her response "The hearing loss is irreversible" wasn't the answer I was expecting.
What was the cause of the author's irreversible hearing loss?
Repeated listening to loud music played very closely to her ears.

O A genetic problem caused her to slowly lose her hearing over a long period of time.
