Logos, pathos, and ethos are called as the rhetorical appeals. So, the correct option is A.
What are Rhetorical appeals? The characteristics of a statement that make it really persuasive are rhetorical appeals. A writer must appeal to the reader in a number of ways in order to produce a compelling argument. Logos, ethos, pathos, and kairos are the four distinct categories of persuasion.
By constructing logical arguments, Logos appeals to the rational side of the listener. By appealing to the author's status or authority, ethos increases the likelihood that the audience will believe them. In order to evoke certain feelings in the audience, such as anger or sympathy, pathos uses emotional appeals.

Dawe says the farmed salmon are also responsible for infecting wild salmon with a variety of diseases—including sea lice, which deform the fish, and bacterial kidney disease. Fish farmers normally expect losses from disease of 25 to 30 per cent. Dawe says if salmon are to be farmed they should be raised in tanks on land and all the effluent should be treated. "I still wouldn’t eat farmed salmon," he adds, "but if others want to, that’s their business."
In the fourth paragraph, the author discusses diseases in wild salmon primarily to?
A. highlight similarities between the incidence of disease in wild salmon and farmed salmon
B. suggest that the advent of aquaculture is responsible for ailments previously unseen in salmon
C. imply that wild salmon are more susceptible to disease than farmed salmon
D. support a claim about the health benefits of eating farmed salmon
E. present evidence that calls into question the benefits of large-scale aquaculture
A. To highlight similarities between the incidence of disease in wild salmon and farmed salmon. This is what the author discusses diseases in wild salmon primarily to.
What are the other paragraphs discussing? The first paragraph explains that salmon farming is no longer new and has become a big business. It mentions how over the past three decades, salmon farming has grown into a global business, with farms in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
The second paragraph states that salmon farming is no longer considered sustainable. The author cites a report from 2008 by the World Wildlife Fund, which called for a moratorium on new salmon farms until the industry could address some of its problems.
The third paragraph is discussing a study that was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). The study found that farmed salmon had much higher levels of dioxins, PCBs, and other toxins than wild salmon. It also stated that farmed salmon had lower levels of healthy omega-3 fatty acids than wild salmon.
The fifth paragraph is talking about how the government and the salmon industry in Canada have been working to improve the situation. The government is attempting to increase regulation of the industry and is trying to make sure that the farms are operating in a sustainable manner. The industry, meanwhile, is working on developing new technologies to reduce the amount of waste produced by the farms.

The sentence "The more time a technical writer spends on the first draft of a document, the less need there is for an outside review of it." is false because regardless of the time spent on the first draft of a document, an outside review or editing process is still important and necessary.
Even if a technical writer spends a lot of time on the first draught, they could get too familiar with it and fail to notice mistakes, inconsistencies, or areas that should be improved. Outside reviewers can offer a dispassionate evaluation of the document.
They can assess the content's organization, clarity, and efficacy without being swayed by the author's personal prejudices or presumptions. As a quality control measure, an outside review is conducted.
Reviewers can ensure that the document is error-free and upholds a professional standard by checking for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting mistakes. If the document is intended for end users, usability testing may be part of an external review.

I can say that Gilgamesh is an epic hero because of his superhuman strength and his journey to self-discovery. Gilgamesh was a mighty warrior who possessed immense physical strength, making him almost invincible in battles. For example, in Tablet I, Gilgamesh single-handedly defeated the ferocious Humbaba. Furthermore, Gilgamesh's journey to self-discovery is a quintessential feature of an epic hero. Throughout the story, Gilgamesh goes through a transformation from an arrogant king to a wise and compassionate ruler. This is best exemplified in Tablet X when Gilgamesh comes to terms with his own mortality and accepts his fate as a mortal being.

Devia art is a form of art that explores the Deaf experience, drawing on the language, symbols, and imagery of Deaf culture. Its purpose is to increase understanding and acceptance of Deaf people, to build Deaf community and to show pride in Deaf heritage. Common elements of paintings include symbols and icons of Deaf culture, visual sign language, and abstract designs.
Deaf theater combines aspects of both Deaf culture and hearing theater. Adaptations of hearing theater involve signing and visual techniques, such as body language, facial expressions, and the use of props, to replace the spoken words in the play.
Deaf-world theater utilizes sign language and acting techniques to tell stories from a Deaf perspective. Hearing plays adapted to deaf culture use sign language, captioning, and other visual elements to interpret the play to a deaf audience. Cross-cultural theater uses elements from both hearing and Deaf culture to create an accessible play for all audiences.
Deaf poetry is a form of poetry using the structure and syntax of sign language and other elements of Deaf culture. It often includes elements of gesture, facial expressions, and body language. It came about in the late 1970s as a form of artistic expression for the Deaf community.
ASL poetry has a long history of incorporating video footage, particularly VHS and VCRs, as part of its performance. This allows for a multi-sensory experience and encourages audience participation.

In 7.6 you read a selection from Pascal’s "The Wager", in which he gives an argument for the claim that it is rational to believe in God even if we do not have evidence that God exists. (a) Explain Pascal’s argument and then (b) explain an objection to Pascal’s argument. In this section, we looked at the famous philosopher Blaise Pascal and his arguments and proofs in his pragmatism style of debate. Pascal's idea was that from a mathematical standpoint it would be the best option to believe in God and follow his practices. He explained that regardless of intervention, people will always believe in their own set of beliefs, even if said person has no way of rationalizing those beliefs. He also stated that if one event happens repeatedly or even constantly the results will always be the same; therefore if you were to only change one variable the following result should likely be rather close to the original ending. Pascal used this logic to say that if someone is to believe in God and he ends up not existing, you wouldn’t lose much, however, if you chose to not believe in God and he does exist you risk facing a worse fate than you originally thought. However, some people did not agree with this logic and in fact, carried this logic further. Other philosophers said that if we continue the pattern what if there were two gods? What if you believed in the wrong God?
Blaise Pascal's argument for the claim that it is rational to believe in God even if we do not have evidence that God exists is called Pascal’s Wager. According to Pascal, it is rational to believe in God even when there is no evidence of his existence. Pascal's idea is that from a mathematical standpoint, it would be the best option to believe in God and follow his practices.
He explained that regardless of intervention, people will always believe in their own set of beliefs, even if the person has no way of rationalizing those beliefs. He further stated that if one event happens repeatedly or constantly, the result will always be the same; therefore, if you were to only change one variable, the following result should likely be rather close to the original ending. Pascal used this logic to argue that if someone believes in God, and he ends up not existing, the loss wouldn't be much.
However, if one chooses to not believe in God, and he does exist, one risks facing a worse fate than one originally thought. Pascal’s argument was made in response to the argument of atheists who think that there is no need to believe in God because there is no evidence for God's existence. The objection to Pascal’s argument is that it is a false dichotomy or a false choice. It is not always the case that we have to choose between believing in God and not believing in God. Some people don’t believe in God because they are not convinced by the arguments for God’s existence.
Others don’t believe in God because they think that belief in God is not necessary for a meaningful life. Moreover, Pascal's argument doesn't help us to decide which religion is true, what religion we should follow, or which conception of God is correct. It only tells us to believe in God, without giving any guidance on which God we should believe in or how we should worship him.
