What makes us abandon our responsibilities and what do we need to do to
stick with something? What strategies do you use to overcome frustration
and despair that lead to your not fulfilling a responsibility?
Write your response

They include lack of motivation, fear of failure, external factors beyond our control, lack of support, and unrealistic expectations. Giving up can be a frustrating and disappointing experience. it can negatively affect our personal and professional lives.
One factors of giving up is a lack of motivation. If we don't feel inspired or driven to accomplish a particular goal, we may not be committed and finish our duties. Fear of failure can also lead to giving up. When we are afraid that we will not succeed, we may avoid the situation and abandon our efforts.
Unexpected setbacks or obstacles can also lead to giving up. If we encounter challenges that are beyond our control, we lack the motivation and resources to overcome them. Similarly, lack of support from friends, family, or colleagues, can affect our potential focus on our goals.
To avoid avoid giving up, we need strategies to stay motivated and focused on our goals. Mainly, we should break down larger goals into smaller, more manageable tasks. This may help sustain control and make progress toward our ultimate goal. We can also seek out support from others, such as a mentor, accountability partner, or support group.
Moreover, we may take a break and step back from the situation. We can use this time to reflect on what is causing our feelings and explore strategies for overcoming them. For example, we might practice mindfulness or meditation to calm our minds and reduce stress. Alternatively, we might seek out professional counseling or therapy to address underlying issues contributing to our feelings of frustration or despair.

Use context clues to determine the meaning of the word restrained. Write your definition, along with the words or phrases that were most helpful in arriving at
your conclusion. Then consult a dictionary to confirm your understanding.
The literature and other art of the ancient and classical periods is characterized by a formal and restrained style. A glance at any piece of classical Greek or Roman art or architecture makes that style clear. It is
perfectly balanced and symmetrical and hardly adorned, which can be seen in the Parthenon, a famous Greek temple built in 480 BCE. Classical artists strove to achieve an ideal, and therefore did not include excess features that could throw the piece off balance or reveal any awkward human flaw. Likewise, classical authors employed a restrained style in their poetry and prose. True to the philosophy of the time, they prized balance and order in their language and
in the structure of their poems and plots. Dramas follow Aristotle's unities, strict rules that dictated that a play must focus on one action over the course of one day in a single location. All the messy action happens offstage and then is described in formal language for the audience by a member of the chorus. In epic poems, passionate actions are often counseled against or result in terrible consequences.
Answer:
The meaning of restrained seems to be "governed by rules, restricted. Constrained by structure"
Phrases from context: "Dramas follow Aristotle's unities, strict rules..."
"...balance and order in their language and in the structure of their poems and plots...
Dictionary definition:: Restrain: check or hold in; keep under control or within bounds. (Oxford)
Restrained: marked by restraint : not excessive or extravagant (Merriam-Webster)
Explanation: The context explains that writers followed the rules and the structure that they learned from the models set up by Aristotle and other classical writers. The audience expected that structure and balance. Some things would have disturbed the audience or readers, so writers were careful to not to offend them.

give your own opinion about social outcast
Social outcasts, by definition, are typically people who do not conform to the current societal standards, and therefore are "cast out" of the societal rankings. They, in a rigid societal class system, would be found outside the sphere of classes, and would be given little worth by society. However, as time has proven, social outcasts actually play an important role in allowing for such a social construct to be stable, as well as allowing for the rigid casts of classes to be put in place.
Social outcasts typically do not even register within the base, or the masses, and earn their rankings, are typically those who do not live up to the expectations given to the working class. For example, in the US, the "American Dream" had been the predominant expectation given to those of the working class, in which one owns a property such as a house and it's plot of land that it is on, with a stable income, and a nuclear family. A social outcast in the American Dream era would be one who fails to meet at least one, if not all of these points. However, that is not to say that the failure to meet one or another would register them as a outcast. For example, failing to form a nuclear family when one is in a long term relationship may be frowned upon, especially when one breaks away from the traditional and only marriage. Failure to be able to provide for oneself (as well as one's family if one has one), can also be used to prescribe a person as a social outcast.
Social outcasts, in my opinion, may not seem significant at first, but they have the ability to create change and destroy the rigid structures that benefits society. For example, in certain countries, the LGBTQ+ society members are placed under the social outcast categories, typically due to their beliefs of unnatural relations, which may lead to them being cast out of many different societal structures, especially those that are religiously rooted. However, that is not to say that they fail to meet the expectations physically, but only in a mental environment of failing to comply to the societal standards of that place and day. The rigid structures can always be destroyed by libertarian activities, such as protests, riots, and even revolution, which applies pressure to the system and forces a change, whether peaceful or not. The social outcast, in that effort, must be suppressed in order to keep the current structure failure-proof. In the end, one can summarize social outcasts as those who distort the vision a societal structure gives to it's people, and to either be broken by the system to follow it, or to be forced to change the structure in a way that benefits the outcast. It is important to note that no matter how accommodating a social structure may be, there will always be some sort of social outcast. After all, with flexibility and freedom, comes freedom of thoughts of malice, envy, greed, and protection of one's own interests. As such, social outcasts will always be a part of society, and can always be minimized, but never eliminated from humanity.

Read "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" and answer the question.
[1] I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
[5] Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
[10] Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
[15] A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
[20] In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
What happens in the third stanza?
The poet imagines seeing countless stars, waves, and flowers.
The poet reflects on the day that his sadness was very severe.
The poet sees the waves and watches the daffodils with awe.
The poet witnesses many natural wonders in the sky and on land
In the third stanza of "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud," the poet sees the waves and watches the daffodils with awe.
In the third stanza of "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud," the poet describes the scene of the daffodils and their surroundings. He observes that the waves beside the daffodils are also dancing, but the daffodils outdo them in their glee. The poet acknowledges that in the presence of such joyous company, he could not help but feel happy. He gazes at the daffodils with awe and admiration, and little does he know that this sight will bring him much happiness in the future.
The third stanza is significant because it captures the essence of the beauty and joy that the poet experiences in the presence of the daffodils. The poet is not only observing the flowers, but he is also engaging with them and being affected by their beauty. The description of the dancing waves adds to the overall sense of joy and liveliness that the poet feels. By saying that the daffodils outdo the waves in glee, the poet emphasizes the vibrancy and liveliness of the flowers.
Moreover, the final lines of the stanza indicate that the experience of witnessing the daffodils brings the poet immense joy, even long after the moment has passed. The image of the daffodils is so ingrained in the poet's memory that they continue to bring him pleasure even in his moments of solitude. This reinforces the idea that nature has the power to uplift and inspire us and that even a fleeting encounter with beauty can have a lasting impact on our lives.
