Of nine core [United States health care] access measures, five were improving over time: two measures related to access to health insurance, two measures assessing timely access to care, and one measure assessing patients' access to services when they perceive a need. Only one measure worsened over time: it assessed access to specialty care services for children. Notably, despite an overall increase in access to health insurance, a measure of access to dental insurance has not changed.
Although the overall trend in access to care has improved, significant disparities by race, ethnicity, household income, and location of residence persist for access to health insurance and access to dental insurance. Disparities by race, ethnicity, household income, location of residence, and insurance type also exist for having an ongoing source of care, receiving timely care, and receiving care when needed. . . .
The United States has seen significant gains in the number of people covered by health insurance and who have a usual source of healthcare. For example: from 2002 to 2018, the percentage of people under age 65 years who had any period of uninsurance decreased by 33%, and the percentage of people under age 65 who were uninsured all year decreased by 42%, with the largest change occurring after 2013. Concurrent with these trends, the percentage of Americans who have access to a usual source of care has improved.

Write out your essay based on the above topic. The length of your essay should be BETWEEN 450-650 words.
Ensure that your essay has:
an INTRODUCTION PARAGRAPH (Introduce the Topic & Thesis Statement)
BODY PARAGRAPH (3 Main Ideas with Relevant Supporting Details, & 1 Counterargument with Refutation)
a CONCLUDING PARAGRAPH (Conclusion).
Divorce among married couples is on the rise due to various causes, such as lack of communication, infidelity, and financial issues. These causes have significant effects on the family and the wider community, leading to emotional distress, financial instability, and strained social relationships.
Introduction
Divorce rates have been increasing steadily in recent years, impacting countless families and communities. This essay will explore the possible causes of divorce and delve into the effects it has on both the family unit and the broader community. By examining these aspects, we can gain a better understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and the societal implications of rising divorce rates.
Causes of divorce
One major cause of divorce is the breakdown of communication between spouses. When communication channels become strained or ineffective, conflicts can escalate, leading to irreconcilable differences. Additionally, infidelity is another significant factor contributing to the dissolution of marriages. Trust is crucial in any relationship, and when it is broken, it can be challenging to rebuild the foundation of a marriage. Financial issues also play a role in divorces, as disagreements about money management and financial instability can place a significant strain on a couple's relationship.
Effects on the family and community
The effects of divorce on the family are far-reaching and can be emotionally distressing for all involved, especially children. Divorce often disrupts the stability and security children need for healthy development, leading to feelings of confusion, anxiety, and a sense of loss. Financial implications are also prevalent, as divorce can result in decreased income and increased expenses for both parties. This financial strain can affect the standard of living and future prospects for both the divorcing couple and their children.
In terms of the wider community, divorce can have social repercussions. Divorced individuals may experience a sense of isolation or stigmatization, affecting their social relationships and support networks. Divorce also places additional burdens on community resources, such as counseling services, legal aid, and welfare programs, as individuals seek assistance to navigate the challenges of divorce.
Counterargument and refutation: Some may argue that divorce can provide an escape from abusive or unhealthy relationships, leading to a positive outcome for individuals involved. While it is true that divorce can sometimes be a necessary step to protect individuals from harm, it is essential to acknowledge that the process itself can still be emotionally and financially challenging. Additionally, divorce often carries long-term consequences that extend beyond the immediate circumstances.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the increasing rates of divorce are influenced by various causes, including communication breakdown, infidelity, and financial issues. These causes have significant effects on families, leading to emotional distress and financial instability. Moreover, the broader community experiences the social repercussions of divorce, including strained relationships and increased demand for support services. Recognizing the causes and effects of divorce is crucial in addressing the challenges faced by families and communities in an increasingly complex society.

Read the following text, which is an editorial piece about the environment from the LA Times, an American newspaper.
Analyse the text, focusing on form, structure and language.
Human activities could erase 1 million of our fellow species It’s hard to imagine a more dire assessment of what we humans have done to the world than the 1,500-page United Nations report released Monday in Paris that says, among other things, that our collective activities have put some 1 million plant and animal species at risk of extinction, many within decades. While environmentalists and other scientists have warned for years that humans are uniquely dangerous to the habitability of the planet, the new report takes a deep and broad look at exactly what those impacts have been so far, and what they foretell. It isn’t pretty.
The report from the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and
Ecosystem Services involved the work of more than 450 researchers and relied on
15,000 scientific and government reports; it took three years to complete. It’s an
astounding accounting of what we have wrought, warning that extinction rates are
accelerating rapidly and making clear that without fundamental changes to how we live and organize human societies, the massive decline in biodiversity will endanger
humankind as well, because our fate is so deeply interwoven with that of other species.
‘The overwhelming evidence presents an ominous picture,’ said Robert Watson,
chair of the U.N. body that presented the report. ‘The health of ecosystems on which
we and all other species depend is deteriorating more rapidly than ever.We are eroding the very foundations of our economies, livelihoods, food security, health and quality of life worldwide.’
The rate of global change in nature during the past 50 years, the report says, ‘is
unprecedented in human history.’ Not coincidentally, the world population has increased from 3.7 billion to 7.6 billion since 1970.
Despite the dire risk from our burning of fossil fuels, it seems that climate change is
only the third biggest threat to existence of global species, at least for the moment. At
the top of the list is land use, including development, logging, hunting, mining and
harvesting, and man’s impact on the oceans from pollution and overfishing.
Three-quarters of the earth’s surface bears the scars of human presence, as does
two-thirds of the marine environment, the report says. Urbanized areas have doubled
since 1990 and pollution from plastics has increased tenfold. Over-hunting and
overfishing have undercut the natural diversity crucial to sustainability.
Some scientists argue that the global ecosystem is undergoing a ‘sixth extinction,’ much like what happened to the dinosaurs and other lifeforms during five previous global catastrophes. But this is the first such crisis in which the blame does not fall on a massive asteroid strike or pervasive volcanic activity but on the behavior of a single species: us
The message is clear: Unless the world drastically reorders its priorities and alters its
policies, the despoliation of nature will continue.
So what is to be done? A lot of hard work. The report recommends a wide range of
actions, including less intrusive and lower-impact land-use policies and integration of
agriculture with development, stronger focus on conservation and retention of ecological diversity, localization (and ‘improved distribution’) of agricultural food chains, stronger marine protections and use policies, and in urban areas a better focus on sustainable development in making planning decisions.
Of course, those steps require political will, and if the decades-long fight to counter the
worst effects of climate change from global warming is any indicator, we may be in
trouble. The issue is global, and correcting the course of human behavior takes
leadership and international cooperation.
We hope this report, and a global consensus on the dangers we face from climate
change and a variety of other behaviors, will lead to smarter, less damaging policies.
This isn’t a matter of balancing the survival of one species or another against the human need for food, water and shelter. This report warns in no uncertain terms that we face an existential threat of our own making. It’s humankind’s to fix, and the urgency of doing so can’t be overstated.
Globalization of the problem necessitates leadership & international cooperation in order to change human behaviour.
Global warming: What is it?We hope that this report and a global understanding of the threats posed by climate change as well as a range of other activities will result in wiser, less harmful policies. Our actions could wipe off 1 million members of our own species. It's difficult to think of a more ominous assessment of what humans had also done to the planet than the 1,500-page report from the United Nations released Monday in Paris, which notes, among other items, that our combined actions have put about 1 million species of plants and animals at danger of going extinct, many of them within decades.
