Answers

Answer 1

The value to consumers that comes from the production or alteration of a product or service constitutes Form utility.

Form utility is considered as the value that a consumer can derive from products as well as services in a specific way that they actually need. When a company is providing goods or services to a large group of consumers when they tend to demand or as they need them, then it is referred to in the term called time utility.

The value that is given by virtue of the fact to a product that the materials including the components comprised as the value have been combined to make the product in a finished state.

In such cases, the baby may be allowed to die. Rachels argues that in such cases, compelling moral reasons for choosing active euthanasia can be found.

Active euthanasia means doing something to bring about death. Passive euthanasia is useless. Doing something to bring about death is worse than doing nothing.

Active euthanasia includes: Intentional termination of one's life by another person to relieve pain or suffering.

Many people make a moral distinction between active and passive euthanasia. They believe that it is acceptable to refuse treatment and allow a patient to die, but that it is never acceptable to deliberately kill a patient.

Ana oana and carina have 360 nuts. after ana gives the hull 20 walnuts and oana 30 walnuts then carina will have 2 times more than one and 40 more than ana how many nuts each has

Answers

Based on the given information, we can determine the number of nuts for Ana, Oana, and Carina using the provided terms. Let A represent the number of nuts for Ana, O for Oana, and C for Carina. We have the following equations:

1. A + O + C = 360
2. C = 2(A - 20)
3. C = A + 40

First, we'll simplify equations 2 and 3:

C = 2A - 40
C = A + 40

Now, since both equations equal C, we can equate them:

2A - 40 = A + 40

Solving for A, we find:

A = 80

Next, we'll substitute A = 80 back into equation 3 to find C:

C = 80 + 40
C = 120

Finally, we'll use the equation A + O + C = 360 to find O:

80 + O + 120 = 360

Solving for O, we get:

O = 160

Therefore, Ana (A) has 80 nuts, Oana (O) has 160 nuts, and Carina (C) has 120 nuts.

What distinguishes the biopsychosocial model from the other major perspectives within psychology?

Answers

The biopsychosocial model is a comprehensive approach to understanding human behavior and mental processes that takes into account biological, psychological, and social factors. It differs from other major perspectives in psychology in that it emphasizes the interaction between these three domains rather than focusing solely on one aspect.

1. Biological factors: The biopsychosocial model recognizes that biological factors, such as genetics, brain structure, and neurochemical imbalances, can influence behavior and mental health. This perspective acknowledges the importance of understanding the physiological processes that underlie psychological experiences.
2. Psychological factors: In addition to biological factors, the biopsychosocial model recognizes the significance of psychological factors, such as thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This perspective acknowledges the role of cognitive processes, learning, and individual experiences in shaping behavior and mental health.
3. Social factors: The biopsychosocial model also emphasizes the impact of social factors on behavior and mental health. This includes cultural norms, social support systems, family dynamics, and socioeconomic status. This perspective acknowledges that social interactions and environmental influences play a crucial role in shaping individuals' well-being.

In summary, the biopsychosocial model considers the complex interplay between biological, psychological, and social factors in understanding human behavior and mental health. This distinguishes it from other major perspectives within psychology, which tend to focus on one domain in isolation.

Stanley Milgram conducted a groundbreaking experiment in the 1960s known as the Milgram Experiment. This research aimed to understand how ordinary individuals would respond to instructions from an authority figure to administer increasingly severe electric shocks to another person. The study revealed startling results, indicating that a significant number of participants were willing to obey authority and administer potentially harmful shocks, even when they had concerns about the well-being of the other person. Milgram's work shed light on the power of situational influences on human behavior and sparked extensive discussions and debates on ethics and conformity. Consequences of Kristallnacht

Citation: C N Trueman "Consequences Of Kristallnacht"

historylearningsite.co.uk. The History Learning Site, 9 Mar 2015. 27 Apr 2021.

Kristallnacht – the Night of the Broken Glass – took place on November 9th and 10th 1938. It was in reprisal for the death of Ernst von Rath, the Third Secretary of the German Embassy in Paris, who was shot on November 7th by Herschell Grynszpan, a Polish Jew. The Night of the Broken Glass caused a great amount of damage to property with thousands of homes and shops being destroyed along with 586 synagogues. Joseph Goebbels said that “the patience of the German people has been exhausted” in an attempt to justify the destruction. However, not everyone was as enthused about the Night of the Broken Glass. Hermann Goering was angered by the widespread destruction of homes and shops. While he fully supported the attack against the Jews of Nazi Germany, he believed that an empty and gutted shop offered little to Germany whereas one that had been cleared of its Jewish owner but was left intact for a German occupier far better served the Reich. Goering was the minister in charge of the economy and saw the two nights of damage to property as a chance lost to the Nazis as no one would want a burnt out shop that offered little to anyone. He had been emphasising to loyal Germans the importance of not wasting anything and here was an example that clearly went against such a philosophy. On November 12th 1938, Goering called a conference to discuss the whole issue. In attendance, amongst others, were Reinhard Heydrich, representing the SS, and Joseph Goebbels. A secretary kept minutes of what was discussed.

Goering complained to Goebbels – who had celebrated what had occurred – that his position as the minister in charge of the economy had been made a lot harder by the destruction caused by Kristallnacht. However, all three men agreed on one thing – it was ultimately the fault of the Jews that the destruction occurred. Goering, according to the minutes, stated that “all measures (should be taken) to eliminate the Jew from the German economy.” Goebbels added that a law needed to be introduced that barred Jews from most beaches, parks, holiday resorts, forests and that there should be clearly marked “For Jews Only” parks and benches. It seems that Heydrich’s role in this meeting was minimal in terms of what he said. However, he was to make one comment, according to the minutes, that was to have a huge impact on the Jews:

“I’d like to make a proposal regarding police measures which are important also because of their psychological effect on public opinion. For example, anyone who is Jewish according to the Nuremburg Laws will have to wear a certain badge.”

On the same day as the meeting, Goering issued three decrees:

1. “All damage to Jewish businesses or dwellings on 8,9 or 10 November 1938 through the indignation of the people over the agitation of the international Jews against national Socialist Germany, must be repaired at once by the Jewish occupant or Jewish businessman. The cost of restoration will be borne by the occupants of the Jewish businesses and dwellings concerned. Insurance claims by Jews of German nationality will be confiscated in favour of the Reich.

2. The hostile attitude of Jewry towards the German people and Reich, which does not even shrink from committing cowardly murder, requires harsh atonement. Therefore I make the following order: the payment of a contribution of 1,000,000,000 Reichmarks to German Reich has been imposed on the Jews of German nationality as a whole.

3. From January 1st, 1939, on, a Jew cannot remain a businessman any longer. If a Jew has been a leading employee in a business enterprise, he will be dismissed after six months notice.”

1. Do you believe the United States is becoming more secularized or more
fundamentalist? Please explain your position.

Answers

Answer: Secularized

Explanation: Based on what I've seen, I feel the United States is secularizing. This is due of my research on the subject. Christianity was the foundation of the United States. It was made up of Christians who had fled persecution. And practically everything was built on it (Christianity), but now... I don't think so. Americans are clearly abandoning religion because they believe there is no God, no heaven, no hell, and no afterlife. They believe that you should simply live your life as you see fit. This, I believe, is due to modernity. And it's not just Christianity; other religions are involved as well.

Just to be clear, what I'm saying doesn't apply to everyone; there are still people who practice religion or follow Christ. However, what I'm saying is that, in my opinion, the United States as a whole or majority is secularizing. I do believe there is still a chance that America as a whole may return to fundamentalism, but as of right now, that doesn't look to currently be a possibility.

This is merely my opinion, based on my own historical research, to be clear. Although not the best solution, this was the most straightforward I could come up with. I hope this was helpful.
