Someone who believes in divine rule believes that God

favors aristocrats and people of wealth.
chooses monarchs to represent him on Earth.
supports kings and queens but does not choose them.
wants government to be in the hands of the people.

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

According to this perspective, kings and queens possess a divine right to rule, which means that they are believed to have been chosen by God to govern on His behalf and control worldly events that God cannot physically manage. Option B is considered the correct answer because the other options are incorrect for the following reasons:

Option A is incorrect because Legalism, a political philosophy, emphasized the use of force and did not require legislators to consider the needs or desires of their subjects. It was popular among aristocrats, but it is not directly related to the concept of divine right.

Option C is incorrect because the statement suggests that those who believe in divine rule do not believe that God supports kings and queens. However, the belief in divine rule implies that God has chosen them to rule, indicating support from God.

Option D is incorrect because the statement suggests that those who believe in divine rule believe that God shows them in His place to rule. However, the concept of divine right asserts that God chose them to rule in His place, not merely show them.

Quirky is a company that helps people invent new products. Quirky gives inventors a design team that helps them bring their thoughts to life. The staff of Quirky (75 people and growing) listens to proposals for new projects and votes on which products the company will make. One famous example of a Quirky product was invented by a salesman who lived in Baltimore. He noticed that people who lived in apartment buildings kept large air conditioners hanging out of their windows. Those air conditioners would run all day. He invented a slim air conditioner that can be turned on and off using a phone app. His air conditioners use less energy than old-fashioned air conditioners. As the ocean temperatures rise, the balance between corals and algae in the reefs is thrown off, and the corals die. Additionally, the oceans are becoming more acidic as they take in excess carbon dioxide from the air. Corals do not grow well in water with a high acid content. In the last twenty years, corals have been affected by global warming in all parts of the world. ⟶ "the" ARTICLE NOUN "with" "the" "boy" "the" "flower" VERB

As shown above, there are two different leftmost derivations for the sentence "the girl touches the boy with the flower." The ambiguity arises due to the use of the non-terminal symbols ARTICLE and PREP in multiple places within the grammar. In the first derivation, "with" is associated with "girl" (the girl with the flower), while in the second derivation, "with" is associated with "boy" (the girl touches the boy with the flower). This demonstrates the ambiguity in the grammar, as there are multiple ways to parse and derive the same sentence. Thus, the grammar is indeed ambiguous with two different leftmost derivations of the sentence "the girl touches the boy with the flower."

When, in March and May and July, 1862, I made earnest and successive appeals to the Border States to favor compensated emancipation, I believed the indispensable necessity for military emancipation and arming the blacks would come, unless averted by that measure. a) If you cut off one bad part, you run the risk of killing the entire body.

b) It is often necessary to let an entire body die rather than cutting off a limb.

c) It is often necessary to get rid of one bad part to save the larger whole.

Answers

Answer:

For question one, the answer should be c) This promise even prevented me. This is due to the use of "forbade", which means "prevented", along with the use of "oath", which is like a promise.

As for the second question, I know for sure that it is not b), Significant other, since there is no talking of a partner. I would say probably c) Worthwhile pastime. Yet, a) may be correct? I'm not completely sure since indispensable necessity means a necessity that is absolutely necessary. Then, mutual agreement means a contract between two entities that kind of ties them together. Try replacing 'indispensable necessity' with 'mutual agreement' and 'meanwhile pastime'. Yet, due to how the first sentence is worded, it makes me more so lean towards mutual agreement, in a way.

I'm sorry, I tried my best, all I know is that it isn't b).

For question three, I'd go with c) It is often necessary to get rid of one bad part to save the larger whole. This is because it says how an amputation can save a life, and the life is never wisely just given to a limp, so c) seems like the best option.

Hope this helped.

Then answer the question that follows.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Long ago, in the beginning, Deer had no horns. His head was smooth like a doe's. Now Deer was a very fast runner, but Rabbit was a famous jumper. So, the animals used to talk about it and wonder which could go the farther in the same time. They talked about it a great deal. They decided to have a race between the two, and they made a pair of large antlers to be given to whoever could run the faster. Deer and Rabbit were to start together from one side of a thicket, go through it, and then turn and come back. The one who came out of the thicket first was to receive the horns. On a certain day all the animals were there. They put the antlers down on the ground to mark the starting point. Everyone admired the horns. But Rabbit said, "I don't know this part of the country; I want to look through the bushes where I am to run." So, the Rabbit went into the thicket, and stayed a long time. He was gone so long the animals suspected he was playing a trick. They sent a messenger after him. Right in the middle of the thicket he found Rabbit, gnawing down the bushes and pulling them away to make a clear road for himself. The messenger came back quietly and told the animals. When Rabbit came back, they accused him of cheating. Rabbit said, "No," but at last they all went into the thicket and found the road he had made. Therefore, the animals gave the antlers to Deer, saying that he was the better runner. That is why deer have antlers. And because Rabbit cut the bushes down, he is obliged to keep cutting them down, as he does to this day.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~---Question---Which part of the story is the rising action?------------Answer options------------ A.)
