Write a story about 150-200 words , starting with the line given below. also give a suitable title to the story. "how foolish i was to have believed that young woman........." ( the story should carry a moral and should be in past tense)

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

How foolish i was to have believed that young woman...

It all sounded a bit odd from the beginning, and I ignored the other warning signals in my attempt to help a young woman in need.

Let me tell you how it all started: I was standing in a very short line at the mall, waiting to pay for the items I bought when I suddenly got accosted by a lady of not more than 23 years with red eyes and looking clearly in despair. She told me she had no money on her and her credit card was flagged but she really needed to get some cereal for her baby at home as he was hungry and sick.

The story sounded odd and I kept wondering why I was the one she approached out of half a dozen people. I decided to give her a hundred dollars and she thanked me profusely.

On my way to my car however, I saw her with a well-known drug dealer and it appears she's a junkie who scammed me for a quick fix

I was angry, disappointed all at the same time, but decided not to accost her and accuse her of being a disgusting thief, I walked trance-like to my car and all the while kept thinking, how foolish i was to have believed that young woman.

Write the comparative and superlative adjectives for heavy.

Comparative:

Superlative:

Answers

Answer:

Comparative: heavier.

Superlative: heaviest.

Explanation:

Comparative is called the verb conjugation by which a difference is marked between two specific situations, where one has a marked difference over the other. In turn, it is called a superlative to the verb conjugation where the quality of a certain event is exalted, without there being a comparison with another.

In the English language, comparatives and superlatives follow different grammatical rules depending on the verb in question. Thus, for comparison, some verbs use the expression "more ... than" while others add an ending -er to the verb in the infinitive. The same occurs with the superlative, where some verbs use the expression "the most ...", while others add an ending -est to the verb in the infinitive.

A)
The Angel was dead, What the remained?
B)
The Angel was dead, what then remained?
The Angel was dead so, what the remained?
D
The Angel was dead; and what the remained?

Answers

The answer choice which correctly uses a semi-colon to punctuate the Italicized sentences is this:

B) The Angel was dead; what then remained?

How can the sentence be punctuated?

A semicolon is often used to separate two independent clauses that bear some relationship. In the passage above, we can see that the first part of the sentence is an independent clause that introduces the idea that Angel was dead. This should be followed by a brief pause and the semicolon serves that purpose by causing a break in between the thoughts. Next is the second independent clause that showed that nothing else remained after the death of Angel.

So option B correctly presents these two independent clauses. The semicolon was also introduced at the appropriate part of the sentence. The final part has a question mark that shows that the entire sentence is a question.
