One time that I stepped out of my comfort zone was during a public speaking event in college. I had always been hesitant to speak in front of crowds, and I would always try to avoid it as much as possible.

I spent several days practising my speech in front of the mirror and with my friends. On the day of the event, I felt my heart racing as I walked towards the stage, and I almost backed out. But I remembered that I had worked hard for this and that I needed to overcome my fear.

I went on stage and delivered my speech as best as I could. At first, my voice was shaky, but as I continued speaking, I felt more comfortable and confident.
